NOVA NORMALITAT

NN is a show by La Fura dels Baus that pays tribute to all those who have carried out tasks that have the main purpose of promoting health, while raising funds to help research teams end the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nova Normalitat imagine scientific research teams as daring explorers, mixing pandemic with the maritime routes and fearless sailors that 500 years ago circumnavigated the planet to demonstrate that the Earth is spherical. Magellan, Elcano and the medical teams that have fight against the coronavirus, are depicted as  part of the same boat.

The show is presented in unconventional spaces as the Nova Normalitat is brought directly into the hospitals. For that reason, Kálliópê has offered the audience a multimedia support that accompanies the piece. Through Kalliópê’s app, the audience are able to vote and enjoy different effects performed live during the show.
